2nd annual bi-national fundraiser, Concierto321
On behalf of Progress321 and the FEMAP Foundation, we invite you to our exclusive, 2nd annual bi-national fundraiser, Concierto321, featuring The Chamanas, with Carla Riojas and Aaron Goldfarb, to be held Saturday, May 6, 2017.
In 2016, Progress321 and the FEMAP Foundation began a partnership to expand current efforts toward improving the quality of life of our bi-national community. Concierto321 became the flagship initiative of this partnership, and the first bi-national fundraiser of its kind. The event hosted over 150 guests who enjoyed a cocktail party and a private rooftop concert featuring Frontera Búgalú and renowned musician and co-founder Jim Ward at the FEMAP School of Nursing in Juárez.
Through these fundraising efforts, Concierto321 raised funds for Scholarships for students at the FEMAP School of Nursing and to support the FEMAP Micro-Finance Program. With an average loan amount of $350, the Micro-Finance Program helped 36 individuals to build better lives for their families, while scholarships afforded the opportunity for more than 100 nursing students per semester to pursue an education at FEMAP who otherwise would not be able to afford the modest monthly tuition.
To continue making significant difference in the community we serve and supporting more beneficiaries, the 2nd annual binational Concierto321 will support these two programs again. Tickets can be purchased online and through a ticket portal created especially for the event.
