IGNITE: FEMAP en Conexion 2015 engages unsupervised and disconnected youth in during out of school hours. These after-school programs, contribute to the child’s quality of life by implementing programs that helps in their physical and emotional development and strengthens communities to confront the problems faced by today's youth in Cd. Juarez
FEMAP will work with 310 children between the ages of 7 – 18 years old, who are not involved in out of school activities to protect them from negative influences. One hundred (100) children are new to the program and 210 are returning participants.
FEMAP en Conexion offers reading recovery, sport and art clubs, assistance with homework, youth leadership classes and dance. Due to the demand for these classes and activities, FEMAP has included a summer camp.to ensure youth have year-round activities.
