This Week is Your Last Opportunity to Donate before the December 31, 2015 tax deduction

It has been a fantastic 2015 for FEMAP and the FEMAP Foundation thanks to donors like you. Together we have witness through the years how donations impact thousands of lives of people living below poverty level in our region.

Please note that this week is your last opportunity to donate before the December 31, 2015 tax deduction.

These are some of the areas that benefit from your donations:

1. Equipping Hospital de la Familia– With the Capital Campaign in motion donations and pledges have helped us build and equip the FEMAP School of Nursing and the remodeling of critical areas of the Hospital de la Familia. There is still a need to equip and expand the hospital to continue to deliver the best quality service and medical care. Currently the FEMAP Foundation has a crowdfunding campaign to purchase lifesaving cribs for sick babies, if you wish to contribute please click HERE

2. Contribute to the Micro-finance program– FEMAP’s Economic Development program helps individuals (especially women) to improve their income, and in turn, improve their quality of life. The micro-loans consist of $486 US dollars on average. These small loans are big life-changers for hundreds of women entrepreneurs and their families by kick-starting, sustaining, and/or growing their business. If you wish to empower these women please click HERE

3. FEMAP’s School of Nursing Scholarships– The School of Nursing  provides opportunities for the poorest people to study and become healthcare professionals. The majority of those seeking a nursing education at FEMAP seek scholarships since they have a hard time paying for the modest tuition, currently $43.00 per month. If you wish to contribute for scholarships please click HERE

4. Pediatric Orthopeadic Clinic-  Housed inside FEMAP’s Hospital de la Familia the Pedi-Ortho clinic has provided specialized orthopedic medical care and physical therapy to children from Cd. Juárez and the rest of the state of Chihuahua including the states of Coahuila, Durango, Sinaloa, and Sonora for more than 30 years. The clinic’s volunteers, have changed the life of thousands of children through physical therapy sessions, medical consultations, and surgeries when needed.
